A Timeless Story: Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Amarillo, Texas

Pastor's Welcome

"So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us." 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this branch of Christ's Church.  We seek to witness to the Texas Panhandle with the timeless truth of God's Word. We are excited about our vision for revival and historic Presbyterianism.

So you can know something about me, I was born in Meridian, Mississippi and spent my childhood in Alabama.  My family moved to Lubbock, Texas when I was nine years old, and we have loved West Texas ever since. I met my wife Kandice while we were students at Lubbock High School.  We married in 1998 and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2003.  We moved to Mississippi in 2003 and I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi in 2007. We have been blessed with five children.  While in seminary, I had the privilege of serving the Carthage Presbyterian Church in Carthage, Mississippi under Rev. Dan Gilchrist IV.

I love what I do.  As the pastor of this flock, I set five priorities for myself: pray, preach the Word, love the people, cultivate leaders, and promote strong families.

You are always welcome among us.  You are invited to worship with us, and I look forward to meeting you.
